Aeloa Delany - Owner
Aeloa grew up all over the world. She has lived in Hawaii, Guam, Mexico, England and Scotland. After graduating from University of Oregon, she worked in Seattle for two national retailers and then settled in the design world. She moved to Lincoln, from Connecticut, six years ago. After working for two design firms in the area, Aeloa left to start Excelsior Home and Design. She was determined to offer a fresh clean “look” and resources that weren’t generally available in Nebraska. Aeloa frequently travels and returns to Lincoln with one of a kind treasures for her clients and the stores.

Aeloa prides herself on creating interiors that reflect her client’s individual personalities. She works to know her client’s tastes, lifestyles and personalities so their homes are an extension of their family and their needs. Aeloa collects unique vintage treasures, art and all things dog. She loves to travel and then returning home to Toby and Cookie, her Scottish Terriers.

Ali Coulson - Retail Store Manager
Ali has lived as far west as Jackson, Wyoming and Scottsdale, Arizona. Her extensive background in retail management and merchandising makes her a great match for Excelsior Home and Design but it is her sparkling personality and her sense of humor that we appreciate the most. Aeloa met Ali shortly after Ali retuned to Lincoln to be near her family. When Aeloa was considering opening Excelsior she recruited Ali knowing that she was the perfect person to represent Excelsior Home and Design. Ali lives in Lincoln with her daughter. She collects country antiques, enjoys running and loves animals.

Dori Gibbs - Financial Manager
Dori has lived all over the world. After traveling to and living in many exotic lands she has settled in Lincoln to be near her daughter, Aeloa. She has enjoyed several successful careers but now “in retirement” she runs the financial aspects of Excelsior Home and Design. Dori brings her unique experiences and eclectic style to our stores and her honest observations and wry sense of humor to our lives. She loves digging for vintage treasures and curling up with a good book.

Troy Peterson - Project Manager
Originally from Colorado, Troy attended University of Nebraska where he studied drafting and architectural design. Although he did not graduate with a degree, he did end up in the home design field. Troy lived in Texas and on the East coast and eventually returned to Lincoln. After owning a paint contracting business for several years, Troy was recruited by Aeloa to project manage Excelsior Home and Design’s renovation projects. Troy works closely with Aeloa and Excelsior’s clients during the design process and then facilitates the actual end result by working with and coordinating our sub contractors. Troy loves to travel, Nebraska Football, auto racing and good food but not necessarily in that order.

Cookie and Toby – Shop Dogs
Toby is a black Scottish Terrier originally from New Hampshire. He settled in Lincoln to be near Aeloa. Although Toby is not out going he has deep thoughts. His favorite thing to do is eat!

Cookie is a wheaten Scottish Terrier. She hails from Missouri but has lived in Lincoln since she was eight months old. She is outgoing and would like all to know that her thoughts run deep too. She doesn’t like to eat but she loves to play and cuddle.
